I’m Mahbub Anam, also known as Rhythm113 currently studying Computer Science & Engineering at North South University, Bangladesh. I’m a security enthusiast who loves to explore systems deeply and understand how things work under the hood.

A fun story about me is - while studying, I started testing my university network just for curiosity. I found Remote Code Execution, pivoted through internal servers and stayed unnoticed for months. Later I decided to be ethical and reported everything to the Vice Chancellor. After that, I got an offer to work in the university IT department, where I am working now.

Even though I enjoy my work, I feel like the tech here is not always up to real industry standard. I want to learn more, work with modern technologies and challenge myself. That’s why I am building my portfolio and trying to move forward.

What I’m Into

I mostly work with backend development, system security, servers and automation. I love to build small tools that solve real problems.

Some things I enjoy doing:

  • Micro optimization in code or system (even tiny improvements make me happy)
  • Exploring latest tech news and experimenting with new tools
  • Working low-level - memory, OS internals, reverse engineering type stuff
  • Building security related tools for fun and learning

Where I Am Now

Assistant Software Engineer (Part-time) at North South University IT Department but I’m also doing some personal projects which I’ll update soon.

Looking Forward

I’m always learning and exploring new things. My goal is to work in a place where I can face real-world challenges, write cool things, break things ethically, and fix them even better.
